The Sunrise Community Food Pantry is open from 1 to 3 p.m. at Hubbard Lake Bible Church, 13508 Hubbard Lake Road, Hubbard Lake. Clients are asked to come one time per month and must be present to receive food. Distribution is by curbside pick-up. Recipients stay in their vehicle. Identification is required. Classic baseball is back with the “Old Timers Game” starting at 1 p.m. at the Cuyler Park in Harrisville (north end of Lake Street). All proceeds from concession sales will go to support the Alcona Backpack Program.

Hope’s Harvest Dinner will be held at the Hope Lutheran Church from 4 to 7 p.m. The menu includes roast chicken, homemade stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, squash, homemade bread, pies and desserts. The cost is $15 for adults and children ages five to 12 are $5. Take outs are available. The chuck is located at 5462 Nicholson Hill Road, Hubbard Lake.

Westminster Presbyterian Church is hosting a yoked communion service with Spruce Presbyterian Church to celebrate the unity of the congregations, sharing one pastor. The service begins at 10 a.m. A luncheon will follow. Everyone is welcome. The church is located at 201 N. 2nd Street, Harrisville.

A community presentation by law enforcement agencies in Alpena will focus on Internet safety which will cover social media, sexting, cyberbullying and more. The public is encouraged to attend from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Alpena High School auditorium, 3303 S. 3rd Ave, Alpena. A question and answer session will be held following the presentation.

A potluck party celebrating the Harrisville Train Depot committee’s first year with the renovation project. Everyone is invited to the outdoor event.
