The featured performer for the Harbor Nights Concert is Bob Hausler, who has entertained thousands of people in his career, sharing the stage with Richie Havens, Mark Stuart, Stacy Earle, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Eric Church and many more. His songs have played on radio stations around the world, winning numerous songwriting awards from Review Magazine, BMI and more. This free concert runs from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Harrisville Harbor pavilion in Harrisville. Bring a lawn chair or blanket as seating is on the lawn. SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 18

An open house for the Alcona Community Schools forest begins at 9 a.m. with a ribbon cutting and a community walk through the property will follow. Everyone is invited to attend to celebrate the opening of the school and community forest. The school forest entrance is off Barlow Road, just north of the Alcona Health Center in Lincoln.

The Alcona Classic Tractor & Engine Club is hosting is sixth annual Heritage Day starting at noon at the Alcona County Fairgrounds in Lincoln. Everyone is invited to this free event that features antique tractors, tractor parade, and many demonstrations. There will be a food giveaway of produce and baked goods at the Hubbard Lake Bible Church from 1 to 4 p.m., or until food is gone. Participants are asked to stay in their vehicle and to bring a box for food items. Distribution is on a first come, first served basis. Recipients must remain in their vehicle for curbside pick up and follow volunteer traffic control. The pantry accepts clients regardless of county residence. Identification is required.
